The India Project

One out of every three blind people in the world lives in India; this shocking figure is denoted to poor socio-economic development and an inefficient eye care service in the country. About 80%-90% of the blindness is either curable or preventable.

 
Through the purchases of India Project Sunglasses, Proof was able to donate $25,000 to Aravind Eye Care Systems that in turn built two eye clinics in Pathamadai & Vadamadurai India.

 
Both eye clinics still service the Indian population through cost and time efficient cataracts surgeries. These surgeries drastically change the life trajectory of thousands each year.
