"I am a born and bred Idahoan who has fallen in love with the whitewater that is a hop, skip, and rally away from my front door in Boise. It is more usual to have a passion for kayaking before getting into photography. I on the other hand had it the opposite; I found a camera before the oversized piece of Tupperware that sends you down rivers. I have found the canyons and corridors that I paddle and travel to really collect what I love about this state. With all of that in mind I have a place that is dear to me ever since I paddled it the first time, the Canyon stretch of the South Fork of the Payette. I had the idea to show off this wonderful section with some friends enjoying the day with me in some quality shades. That is what I love most about photography; showing off the natural state which we are in. Its something I hope inspires people to get off their couch and experience something new and rewarding. I am an adventure photographer who loves natural light and wonder. It is a great privilege to show off a state that a majority really thinks is just farmland, but really it is quite the opposite. I look forward to shooting more outdoor activities and meeting new people, which inspire me to push myself in photography as well as life in general."
