Celebrity Golf Tournament

From July 11th to July 16th, our friends at Decaro Auctions gave out over 90 Proof Eyewear Sunglasses and customized boxes to the celebrities competing in the American Century Championship Golf Tournament in Tahoe.

Stephen Curry from the Golden State Warriors
Jerry Rice: NFL Hall of Fame and Wide Receiver
Jason Kidd: Former NBA All-Star; Head Coach: Milwaukee Bucks
The American Century golf Championship has a long history of supporting worthy causes. Since the tournament’s inception 27 years ago, they have raised roughly $4.6 million benefiting many different national and local non-profits. Previous donations have been made to: the Uniformed Firefighters Association Scholarship Fund, Fallen Patriot Fund, Lake Tahoe Fire Relief Fund (Angora fire), Autism Speaks, LIVESTRONG Foundation, American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, Expect Miracles Foundation, United Negro College Fund and Boys & Girls Club.
This year, The American Century Golf Championship appointed the official national beneficiary of the 2017 tournament as the Stowers Institute for Medical Research.
This Institute is a 550-person, biomedical research organization focused on improving our understanding of fundamental biological processes and using the knowledge learned to continue development of innovative approaches to treat, diagnose and prevent disease.
